View answerI recently published the report of the capital review and prioritisation working group on the future capital needs in the third level sector. The report identifies an overall estimated Exchequer requirement of almost €1.9 billion capital funding for the sector over a ten year period. The report and its proposals in relation to the phasing of funding, including funding for Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, will have to be considered in the context of the ongoing Estimates process.
