View answerA working group of General Council, involving the Department of Finance and the Civil Service Unions, is currently assessing the implications of the Protection of Employees (Fixed-Term Workers) Act 2003 for the terms and conditions for all temporary contract staff in the Civil Service. We will implement the central guidelines when they emerge from General Council in respect of temporary contract staff.
