732 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if an assessment will be carried out in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny to determine the home aids, such as a walking aid, which are required; and if the provision of the aids which the assessment demands will be expedited. As the Deputy will be aware, the provision of health services in the Kilkenny area is, in the first instance, the responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.
