132 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science if funding has been sanctioned for replacement of the roof at a school (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [23036/04]
View answerIn view of the possibility of asbestos being present in the roof of the school referred to by the Deputy, the matter has been referred to the health and safety unit of the Office of Public Works, OPW, which is managing the asbestos remediation programme on behalf of my Department. On receipt of a full report from the OPW, the matter will be considered further.
