152 Mr. O’Shea asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the fact that a podiatrist is only available for half an hour per week at Waterford Regional Hospital; the urgent proposals she has to provide an adequate podiatrist service at Waterford Regional Hospital; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of services at Waterford Regional Hospital is, in the first instance, a matter for the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board to investigate the matter and reply to the Deputy directly.
