249 Mr. Ring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if the payments made to doctors in respect of the indicative drugs target scheme are made in addition to amounts they have already received from the GMS scheme. [23745/04]
View answerThe payments, under the indicative drugs target savings scheme, to participating general practitioners, are made in addition to any other fees and allowances paid to the doctors. Payments under the scheme are for the provision of improvements to GP practices which have the specific approval of the health board.
