13 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Finance if he envisages making any special provision for promotion and for new recruitment in the context of the decentralisation programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24638/04]
View answerExisting promotion and recruitment practices and procedures will have to be reviewed and revised to take account of the decentralisation programme. There are already discussions underway with Civil Service unions about these and other human resource aspects of the programme.
