View answerThe Glenamaddy sewerage scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2004-06 to commence construction in 2005. The Department is awaiting submission by Galway County Council of a revised preliminary report for the scheme which, when approved in due course, will allow the council to proceed with the preparation of contract documents. Details of the areas proposed to be served by the scheme are not available in the Department but may be obtained from Galway County Council.

View answerThe Gort regional water supply scheme is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2004-06 to commence construction in 2005. The Department approved Galway County Council's tender recommendation for certain advance works in February 2004 and is awaiting submission by the council of a revised preliminary report for the main element of the scheme.
Details of the areas proposed to be served by the scheme are not available in the Department but may be obtained from Galway County Council.
