View answerI have no function in the matter raised by the Deputy. The website in question was set up by the independent regulator as one of a series of measures to protect and promote consumer interests. ComReg has a statutory obligation under the Communications (Regulation) Act 2002 and the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Universal Service and Users Rights) SI 308 of 2003 to protect and promote consumer interests.
