View answerThe roof of the school in question has been surveyed by the health and safety unit of the Office of Public Works, which manages the asbestos remediation programme on behalf of my Department. I am pleased to advise the Deputy that I have authorised the Office of Public Works to carry out the necessary remediation works to the roof in question. I understand the Office of Public Works is liaising with the school authorities on the matter.
