383 Mr. Murphy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the position regarding a force majeure application made by a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if, in view of the fact that all requested documentation has been submitted, this person will be considered for full entitlements. View answerThe person named has submitted an application requesting that his entitlements be calculated under the single payment scheme measure relating to new entrants or inheritance.
Following processing of the application under this measure, it has been deemed that the more beneficial calculation of single payment entitlements, for the person named, is to exclude the years 2000 and 2001, and as a new entrant to farming, the year 2002 will be utilised for the calculation of his single payment entitlements.
