View answerThe management authorities of the existing post-primary schools in Abbeyfeale have agreed to amalgamate. My officials are nearing completion of a review of all projects with a view to including them as part of a multi-annual programme from 2005. Each project will be assigned a band rating in accordance with the revised criteria for prioritising capital projects which was published earlier this year. This criteria allocates a high priority to amalgamation projects and the building project for the new school in Abbeyfeale, County Limerick, is being considered in this context. The progress of all projects will be considered in the context of the multi-annual programme. Following the conclusion of the current Estimates and budgetary process, I intend to publish the 2005 building programme, which will operate in a multi-annual framework.
