330 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the analysis being taken in her Department in relation to the future needs of primary education in New Ross town, County Wexford; when a final decision will be made on this issue; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department's planning section is in ongoing discussions with the trustees of all schools in New Ross regarding the future shape of educational provision in the town. It is not possible to predict when these discussions will be fully concluded. However, it is expected a number of key decisions can be made shortly.
