View answerI have been informed by the Garda authorities that the matter is the subject of a High Court civil action in which the Garda Commissioner and I, as Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, are cited as defendants. As the matter is before the courts, the Deputy will appreciate that it would be inappropriate for me to make any comment at this juncture.
