525 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the status of an application for funding submitted by Leitrim County Council for the development of the Rooskey sewerage scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31124/04]

Rooskey is included in the County Leitrim towns and villages sewerage scheme, under the water services investment programme of the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government. The scheme will commence construction in 2005 at an estimated cost of €12 million. The Department is awaiting the submission of contract documents for the scheme from Leitrim County Council.
