113 Mr. McGuinness asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if a CAT scan will be provided immediately for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; the reason this person has been informed that they must wait six months; if a response will be expedited; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of health services for residents of County Kilkenny is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board in the first instance. The Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board to investigate the matter and reply to the Deputy directly.
