169 Mr. Curran asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if his attention has been drawn to any health risks or implications associated with the use of very high frequency omni directional range radar as is being installed at Weston Aerodrome, Lucan, County Dublin. My Department has been contacted by local residents making inquiries about this facility. My officials have sought information about the precise specification of the equipment being installed at Weston Aerodrome in Lucan. When this has been obtained and studied by my officials I shall be in a position to reply to the Deputy.
