91 Mr. Coveney asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the way in which he will allocate to local authorities the €10 million fund for disability included in the 2005 budget; the type of schemes that will qualify; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The €10 million capital funds provided in the budget for my Department for the implementation of the national disability strategy will be used to fund measures set out in my Department's outline sectoral plan, after its approval by Dáil Éireann as required by section 29 of the Disability Bill 2004. The measures include access by persons with disabilities to public buildings, public roads and other public places and to other services provided by the Department, local authorities and other public bodies under the aegis of my Department.
