View answerAt its meeting on 10 March 2004, the board of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service, IBTS, appointed a chief executive for the duration of the transition period leading to the integration of the IBTS into the Health Service Executive. My Department agreed the proposed appointment on that basis as part of the implementation of the health reform programme.
