View answerThe current scheme in place in Ireland which provides aid for investments to control farm pollution is the farm waste management scheme, which came into operation in February 2001. Residual payments under the preceding schemes, such as the control of farm pollution scheme would have continued after that date. The following table sets out details of the expenditure, approvals and excess-savings for each of the years concerned:—
