349 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Science the number and value of contracts awarded for public relations projects by her Department since June 2002. [33053/04]

My Department awarded one such contract since June 2002. The contract was in respect of publicising and promoting the YES Your Education System consultative process and was awarded to Carr Communications. Payment of €114,574 was made in respect of this contract.
