I propose to take Questions Nos. 398 and 399 together.

The information requested is not available within my Department. The EPA is primarily responsible for the collection and publication of waste statistics. In this regard I would draw attention to the EPA's national waste database reports 1998 and 2001 and the national hazardous waste management plan which contains the latest official data on hazardous waste arisings, hazardous waste facilities licensed and treatment methods used.
