1325 Mr. O’Shea asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the proposals he has to fund an extension to the Adamstown water treatment plant, County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1025/05]
View answerThe Adamstown water treatment plant is being extended as part of the east Waterford water supply scheme, stage 2, phase 2, which has been approved for construction in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2004 — 2006, at an estimated cost of €20.25 million. Contract documents for the civil and mechanical and electrical works related to the Adamstown extension are under examination in my Department and will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
