90 Mr. J. O’Keeffe asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if she proposes steps through the national treatment purchase fund or otherwise to improve the position of those who need to be assessed by medical consultants, but are unable to obtain appointments for same within the foreseeable future. At my request, the national treatment purchase fund is giving consideration to the question of how to progress improvements on waiting times for outpatient appointments.
