148 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the number of tenders accepted by her Department or State agencies under the control of her Department in the past 12 months for food products; the country of origin of the foods concerned and the value of the contracts; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not have any contracts for the purchase of foodstuffs. As regards State agencies which come under the aegis of my Department, the issue raised by the Deputy is a day to day matter which is the sole responsibility of the bodies concerned.
