View answerI received the report of the working group on haemochromatosis from Dr. Manning on 26 June, and met Dr Manning and the working group to discuss each of the report's recommendations. The report and its recommendations establish a good framework for a national policy on awareness, identification and treatment of hereditary haemochromatosis. I have referred the report to the relevant agencies for appropriate action.
