View answerThere are no systems in place in my Department's procurement procedures to give preference to SMEs and my Department does not record the spend that went to Irish SMEs. The information requested by the Deputy is not therefore readily available.

View answerThe average size of information technology procurement contracts in my Department for the period from 1/1/2005 to date in 2006 has been approximately €190,000. The median size was €84,000.
