48 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if he will estimate the level of e-literacy across the State; if there are significant differences in e-literacy due to age, gender, geographical differences; the measures he is recommending to his colleagues in the Departments of Education and Science and Finance to address the lack of basic computer skills across certain demographic categories; if he and his Government colleagues are considering bringing forward a digital inclusion strategy; the reason the Government supplied no data to the EU and Eurostat in a recent survey on e-literacy across the EU; the way he interacts with his colleague e-Minister Mr. Tom Kitt on e-literacy issues; the way responsibilities are divided between the two Ministers in relation to these matters; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
