1191 Ms C. Murphy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if figures released by the Central Statistics Office in July 2006 via the Census 2006 Preliminary Report will be used by her Department for any reason; if so, what the figures will be used for; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department has no immediate plans to use the figures in the 2006 Census Preliminary Report produced by the Central Statistics Office. However, it is possible that they may be used in the future.
