The Castleblakney Sewerage Scheme has been ranked as a priority for the 2010 to 2014 period in the list of water services schemes submitted by Galway County Council in response to my Department's request to local authorities earlier this year to produce updated assessments of the needs for capital works in their areas and to prioritise their proposals on the basis of the assessments. These assessments will be taken into account in the framing of the next phase of my Department's Water Services Investment Programme.
