152 Deputy Paul Connaughton asked the Minister for Finance the position regarding an application for a transfer under the decentralisation programme by a person (details supplied) in County Galway to a Department in Claremorris, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19797/09]
View answerI understand that the person to whom this question refers is an applicant on the Central Applications Facility (CAF) for the position with the Office of Public Works (OPW) in Claremorris. This person currently occupies a position on the CAF list that is within the required number for the location. OPW are due to decentralise to Claremorris in 2011 and subject to the agreed protocols, OPW would expect to make an offer of transfer to Claremorris in due course.
