16 Deputy Margaret Conlon asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when he expects to be in a position to publish position papers, prepared by his Department and the State agencies under his remit, as part of a public consultative process on relation to the medium term future of the Irish agrifood and fishing sector. View answerAs I announced some time ago, I intend to produce a strategy for the development of the agri-food, fisheries and forestry sectors to 2020. This will follow on the very successful Agrifood 2010 and Agri Vision 2015 strategies.
To help guide the public consultation on the 2020 strategy, I have asked my Department and the State Agencies to prepare a series of discussion papers on key issues. These are currently being finalised and I anticipate that they will be posted on my Department's website before the end of the year.
