A person in receipt of Illness Benefit whose spouse or partner has a gross income in excess of €400 per week is not entitled to an increased payment for a qualified child.

251 Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs if the minimum of 19 hours per week to qualify for family income supplement will be satisfied by having two part-time jobs; and if the same requirement will be satisfied by adding unpaid working hours to an existing job.
