View answerThe total amounts paid to staff in the Head Office areas of my Department in respect of mileage (kilometre) expenses was in the region of €86,000 in 2007, €94,000 in 2008, €52,000 in 2009 and €47,000 in 2010.

However, as the Department of Health and Children is responsible for the staffing of his office, I understand that the Minister for Health and Children is providing the information requested.
