112 Deputy Leo Varadkar asked the Taoiseach if he will list all statutory instruments signed by him or agencies under the aegis of his Department in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010; the date on which the statutory instrument was published in Iris Oifigiúil; the date on which it was laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Taoiseach

I normally sign all Government Orders. However, in answering this question I am taking it that the Deputy is seeking information only in relation to Statutory Instruments (SIs) for which I, rather than other Ministers, have primary responsibility for bringing to Government in addition to SIs that I and the Ministers of State assigned to my Department have statutory responsibility for in our own right. The table beneath provides the information requested in relation to such SIs since I became Taoiseach in May 2008.

The National Economic and Social Development Office is the only agency under the aegis of my Department but it does not have powers to make Statutory Instruments.
