1414 Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of written parliamentary questions replied to from 1 January 2012 to 31 March 2012; the number of these that were answered in full; the number that related to issues where details supplied were personal matters and where the reply was supplied directly to the Deputy; the number of other replies where it was indicated that the information requested would be sent directly to the Deputy concerned; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has answered 753 Parliamentary Questions from 1 January 2012 to 31 March 2012. The Department's Parliamentary Question System does not provide an immediate breakdown in the manner requested by the Deputy and providing the information in that manner would involve a disproportionate amount of work in terms of the staff time involved. However, as the Deputy is aware, the actual responses to all Parliamentary Questions are available on the Oireachtas website.
