143 Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Minister for Finance if he believes a conflict of interest arises in view of the fact that a legal firm is representing persons (details supplied) in relation to matters currently before the courts in England. [18203/12]
View answerI am advised by the bank that the company referred to in the question did not act for two of the parties to the proceedings in the High Court in London at all. In relation to the remaining party, the company did advise on certain aspects only. The company in question is not acting for the State (or State owned entity) in relation to this matter and therefore no conflict of interest can arise.
