187 Deputy Dominic Hannigan asked the Minister for Finance if an adult dependant who is living with his or her parents and getting money from them, and not from the State may transfer their tax free allowance to their parents tax free allowance; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The position is that there is no provision for an adult dependant to transfer their personal tax credit entitlements to a parent or parents.
