442 Deputy Derek Nolan asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation if he is liaising with Irish Aid in relation to the revisions of the accounting and transparency directives; if a common position between the two Departments exists; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is in ongoing contact with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, whose remit covers Irish Aid, in relation to the proposed Directives in question.

Discussions are continuing at EU level and it is hoped that there will be a positive outcome to these proposals.
