63 Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Finance if he will consider offering investors a range of inflation linked bonds to assist the Government’s funding programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [34205/12]
View answerI am advised by the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) that they have decided in principle to issue an inflation-linked bond when market conditions permit and that they are currently working on the technical aspects of such an issue. An announcement on the detailed plans for the issue will be made in due course.
