275 Deputy John O’Mahony asked the Minister for Social Protection when a decision will issue on a review for a carer’s allowance in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [34586/12]
View answerThe application for carer's allowance from the person in question was refused on the ground that the care recipient is not in need of full-time care and attention as laid down in the regulations. The person in question has requested a review of this decision and has submitted further medical evidence in support of the application. Once the review is completed in this case the person in question will be notified directly of the outcome.
