Question:750 Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Health the cost to the Health Service Executive due to patients whose transfer to nursing homes is delayed due to lack of beds and who catch MRSA or similar infections in the acute or general hospitals around the country; and the steps he has taken in the past six months to alleviate the backlog and to free up beds for patients recovering from surgery.
