843 Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Health the budget allocation for and the actual expenditure by the Health Service Executive in implementing the actions of the national drugs strategy unit for the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In addition to services provided by the HSE Addiction Services, other areas of the HSE provide services to clients with addiction problems including acute hospitals, mental health and primary care services. However, it is not possible to provide estimates of the expenditure involved.
