426 Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the annual saving to the Exchequer if the pay of all CEOs of State agencies under his aegis were capped at €100,000. [36630/12]
View answerAs the Deputy will be aware, issues in relation to public service pay policy are a matter for the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform. I am advised that the maximum annual saving that could arise from the implementation of a pay cap of €100,000 to the salaries of Chief Executive Officers of State agencies funded from my Department's Vote Group is estimated to be €133,000.
