423. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the position regarding pyrite affected affordable homes in terms of remediation costs; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [44535/12]

Homes purchased under the Affordable Homes scheme are considered private dwellings and will be dealt with in the same manner as any other private dwelling in relation to pyrite problems.
