Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of farmers at present in REP scheme 3 and REP scheme 4 respectively; the number due to finish their REP scheme participation in REP scheme 3 and REP scheme 4 respectively in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The current number of REPS 4 participants is 30,300. They are due to complete their contracts as set out in the table below.
