The expenditure details sought are as follows:

Year

Numbers paid

Amount paid

2010

100,636

€222.095 million

2011

100,944

€222.274 million

2012 (to date)

77,491

€170.425 million

The Deputy will be aware of the changes to the 2012 Disadvantaged Areas Scheme which I have already announced and the background to these. With payments under the 2012 Scheme having only recently commenced, it is too early at this stage to comment meaningfully on the out-turn for the current year.
