Under the 2012 round of the Sports Capital Programme, 282 applications have been received from organisations in Dublin seeking €34m in funding for projects with a total value of €57m.  Information on applications from the specific areas as sought by the Deputy is not available and its collation would involve a disproportionate amount of work for the Department.

Departmental officials are processing all applications and this process will take some time due to the volume of applications received.

I expect to be able to announce the list of successful applicants later this year.  All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application at that stage.
