248. Deputy Michael Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the position regarding the outstanding single farm payment in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [45106/12]

An application under the Single Payment Scheme was received from the person named on the 30th April 2012. In order to comply with EU requirements, the application concerned was one of a number which was selected for inspection. This inspection and related processes have now been completed and payment under the Single Payment Scheme will issue shortly.
