387. Deputy Eoghan Murphy asked the Minister for Education and Skills the sectors of the public sector that are currently employed on a roster basis and if there are any plans to remove employees from the rostering system. [49072/12]
View answerIn the vast majority of cases, no public sector employees associated with my Department are subject to rostering conditions of attendance. I understand that some educational facilities may operate rostered hours of attendance for caretakers/porters for administrative reasons. However, as my Department is not the employer, I am not in a position to provide detailed figures on this matter.
